According to The Norwegian Code of Practice for Corporate Governance (NUES), annual evaluations of the board and its members should be carried out, preferably as part of the board’s annual plan. Proficient ownership governance and corporate leadership will strengthen the confidence in the company and contribute to maximum increased valuation over time, benefitting owners, shareholders, employees and other interested parties.

It would be good practice to use an independent third party to assist with the evaluation. This ensures quality in the use of tools and that individual board member are clear on what the purpose of the evaluation is. Using an outside organisation also guarantees an independent analysis and presentation of the evaluation results.

With our background in executive selection and development of leaders over the course of many years, using unique tools from The Board Institute Inc., Visindi offers an evaluation methodology, which is adapted to your company’s board, with the aim of increasing its efficiency according to the company’s and owners’ requirements.

The Norwegian version is adapted according to the recommendations of the Norwegian Code of Practice for Corporate Governance (NUES), in co-operation with Professor Janicke L. Rasmussen at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo.
