We are strenghtening our Commercial and Legal team with a Senior Commercial Expert.

The senior commercial expert will have the lead role in supporting all commercial aspects of OMV Norge’s operations from wellhead to customer including protection of daily sales and preservation of significant sales revenues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and optimize entire value chain from wellhead to customer, internal (gas) and/or external
  • Develop and implement capacity booking strategies and product sales strategies
  • Negotiate and supervise agreements (gas sales agreements and sales agency agreements)
  • Support business development in assessing opportunities with aspects of commercial operations
  • Participate in Gassco and license committees and other relevant business fora
  • Hold overall responsibility for the gas dispatching contract

Education and experience

  • Master degree, or equivalent, in business economics or technical discipline
  • 5 – 8 years of relevant experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of, and insight to, the Norwegian upstream segment and gas transportation system
  • Experience and good understanding of structured products and pricing
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing issues would be beneficial
  • Hands- on experience from working with commercial operations upstream and mid-stream
  • Knowledge of processes related to transportation and sale of crude oil and NGL’s
