CHC Helikopter Service is based at Stavanger Airport, Sola, and was founded in 1956. Services we offer in Norway are offshore heavy helicopter transportation and helicopter search and rescue, both onshore and offshore.

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for leading, directing, coordinating, maintaining and controlling the accounting, reporting and finance functions. You will be part of the management team in CHC Norway and act as a business partner by providing both operational and strategic support to the organization.

Expertise and education:

  • Finance/accounting qualifications, with an advanced commerce degree or MBA being a plus
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a senior finance position
  • Broad finance background required within areas such as accounting, controlling, analysis and reporting as well as internal control, procurement and process improvement
  • Experience from working in global organizations, matrix structure and reporting to corporate, would be an advantage
  • Experience in developing relationships with key stakeholders, corporate, banks, external consultants and government institutions is an advantage
  • Experience from change management is a plus
  • Experience from preparation of financial / business documentation and communication with top management

  • Business oriented and overall perspective with an understanding of marked dynamics, and at the same time have the ability to be hands-on and thrive in a role that combines the two approaches

  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written

The position is located at Sola, and is a part of the local management team.
